*Academic Class Definitions:
Senior means graduating in December 2008, May 2009 or September 2009.
Junior means graduating in December 2009, May 2010, or September 2010.
Sophomore means graduating in December 2010, May 2011, or September 2011.
First-Year means graduating in December 2011, May 2012, or September 2012.

Drop/add begins April 12, 2008: Late Registration Fee will be charged after April 27, 2008.

Registration follows the pattern shown above. It opens with graduate and professional student registration, which starts on a Wednesday. Then, undergraduate registration starts on the following Thursday, with 1 day for seniors. The senior window is open to all seniors. The remaining one-day windows are for the other academic classes, which register in turn. Academic class is based on graduation date (see above). Academic classes are sub-divided into three groups, each according to the last two digits of Student ID numbers. Each sub-divided group is advanced from one semester to the next, moving up to the first of the three positions, then back to the last, to start forward again. In this way, every student will, at one time or another, experience each of the three window priority positions twice. Therefore, each student will register in the first window for his or her class four times during his or her academic career.
